Hideo "Panko" Murakami, 85, of Honolulu, a retired architect, an Army veteran, and retired senior vice president of the Queen Emma Foundation, died in Arcadia Retirement Residence. He was born in Hilo. He is survived by wife Teruko; sons Norman, Peter and Leo; and brothers Etsuro and Keiji. Visitation: 10 a.m. July 23 at Hosoi Garden Mortuary. Service: 11 a.m. Casual attire. No flowers. No monetary offerings.
