Sam Eiko Shiroma, 89, of Pearl City, a retired Hawaiian Electric welder and an Army veteran who served in World War II, died in Pearl City. He was born in Ewa. He is survived by wife Betty S.; sons Carl K., Calvin T. and Scott M.; brothers Mitsuo A. and Charles Y.; sister Natsuno Nakamoto; and seven grandchildren. Private services.
