Vaelua Asaeli, 65, of Waipahu, an Army veteran, died in Waipahu. He was born in Auasi, American Samoa. He is survived by brothers Masega and Sinavaa Asaeli, and Matavai Saole; and sisters Faleoge Laititi, Aotoa Titialii, Galua Asaeli, Aiganofolelei Moetoto, Asiasiga Pritchett and Sue Aumua Pese. Visitation: 9 a.m. July 22 at Mililani Downtown Chapel, 20 S. Kukui St., Honolulu. Services: 10 a.m. Burial: 1 p.m. at Hawaii State Veterans Cemetery, Kaneohe. Casual attire. Flowers welcome.
