ETHEL AKEMI NONAKA Age 72, of Hanapepe, Kauai passed away on May 28, 2016 at Wilcox Hospital. She was born on February 24, 1944 in Hilo. She was predeceased by her husband: Edward T. Nonaka. She is survived by her daughter, Adele Yoshimori (Guy) of Koloa, Kauai; son, Darin Nonaka (Kristie-Lyn) of Wahiawa, Oahu; sisters, Alice Murakami of Hilo, Ruth Masaki of Oahu; sister-in-law, Judy Ota of Oahu and grandchildren, Tammie-Jane and Mason Yoshimori. She was also predeceased by her sister, Helen Murobayashi and brother, Stanley Ota. Services to be held at Garden Island Mortuary on Saturday, July 30, 2016. Visitation at 10am, service at 11am. Family requests casual attire and no flowers.
