Harold Isamu Sogi, 95, of Hilo, a retired heavy equipment mechanic for the Operating Engineers Local 3 and an Army veteran who served in World War II with the 442nd Regimental Combat Team, died in Hospice of Hilo-Pohai Malama Facility. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by wife Ethel, son Kenneth, daughter Sterna Boyd, five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Private services.
