Lloyd Kirkwood Kupau, 85, of Kaneohe, a retired Honolulu Police Department lieutenant and an Army National Guard veteran, died in Kailua. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by wife Maizelette "Moana," sons Lloyd Jr. and Lanson, daughters Kernette Pocock and Ranette "Nalani" Kupau-Miranda, brother Winston Kupau, sisters Jessica "Maile" Kirk and Beatrice "Pauahi" Anae, 12 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
