Allen Toshio Balensuela, 66, of Kailua-Kona, a former gardener for Hawaiian Gardens, front-desk clerk for the former Kona Hilton Resort and an Army veteran, died at home. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by daughters Shalene and Angela, and brothers Stanley and Arnold Kanai. Services and inurnment: 9 a.m. Aug. 5 at West Hawaii Veterans Cemetery. For information, call 325-7435.
