70Elizabeth Ilima Whitney, 87, of Honolulu, a maintenance supervisor for the University of Hawaii-Manoa East-West Center, died in Straub Clinic & Hospital. She was born in Kailua-Kona. She is survived by partner Canuto "Joe" Peralta; daughters Teresa Stempin, Mary Kumukau, Terry Calio, Bonny Bannister, Rose and Christine Whitney, and Tammy Suzuki; 18 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
