AMY YOSHIKO NISHIKAWA Amy Yoshiko Nishikawa, aged 88, died on July 20, 2016 at Arcadia Residence in Honolulu. She was born September 3, 1927 on Moloka'i and moved to Honolulu to attend Mid-Pacific Institute. She then worked for the U.S. Army as a civilian employee for 35 years. Amy was predeceased by her husband, Hajime, and children Brian and Alison. Amy is survived by grandsons Brandon and Ira Nishikawa, granddaughter Laurel Pepe and great-granddaughter Naomi Nishikawa. Amy will be remembered for her unwavering love, incredible strength, and infectious laughter. A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, August 13, at Manoa Valley Church, with visitation starting at 10 a.m. followed by service at 11.
