Retired from the State of Hawaii as a supervisor of the Highways Division. He was a member of HGEA. He is survived by wife, Juliana "Tootsie" Kaapuwai; sons, Horace Gray, Howard Gray, Hunter Kaapuwai, Christian "Masa" Borges; daughters, Hope Gray, Holly Boyce, Kylie Kaapuwai, Rain Kaapuwai, Mona Borges; brothers, Milton (Pam) Shon, George (Sharon) Dole; sisters, Daryle (Sam) Viela, Emma Mendoza; 12 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild. Visitation 9:30 a.m. Friday (August 12) at Mililani Mortuary Mauka Chapel; memorial service 10:30 a.m. Leis welcome.
