$nameMOSES MO NGODRII SANTOS Age 91, of Honolulu, passed away July 20, 2016 at home in Kalihi. Born January 1, 1925 in Koror, Palau. Earned his automobile mechanic certification in Yokohama, Japan and opened his first business, Moses Body Shop in Chalan Kanoa, Saipan. Moved from Guam to Hawaii in 1962 and worked for Toguchi Chevron Service Station for 13 years. Opened Santos General Auto Repair Shop located at Sand Island Industrial Park in 1974 for 20 years then worked part-time for the Hawaii Maritime Musuem as a Japanese interpreter for four years. Predeceased by son, Edwin Santos; sister Fermina Santos & brother Benjamin Sanots. He is survived by wife of 62 years, Haruno Ongklungel Santos; sons, Edmund Santos of Seattle, Ernest Santos; daughters, Seliana (Usoalii) Moi of Las Vegas, Elizabeth (Bruce) Hom, Esther Sojot, Erica Santos; brothers, Marciano (Ngeribongel) Santos, Adelino Santos of Palau; sisters, Ines Santos of Palau, Gaudelia (Singeru Ngiramolau) Santos of Palau, Marcela Santos Suematsu of Palau; 17 grandchildren; 27 great-grand- children. Visitation 10:00 AM Saturday August 13 at Mililani Downtown Mortuary, Service 11:00 AM. Burial 2:00 PM at Hawaiian Memorial Park Cemetery. Casual attire.
