72Nel "Nelson" Leslie Kalakawa Avilla, 62, of Honolulu died in Kuakini Medical Center. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by wife Georgia; sons Kekoa and Lionel; daughters Malia Ann and Pele; sisters Ruby Pepper, Damiana Parks, Camille Medeiros, Corinna Avilla and Gigi Livsey; and three grandchildren. Visitation: 10 a.m. Aug. 13 at Ka Hale Hoano o ke Akua, 1760 Nalani St. Services: 11 a.m. Casual attire. No flowers.
