Rose Tomie Ohashi, 87, of Kula, Maui, owner of Maui Collection Service and a Maui representative for U.S. Sen. Daniel Akaka, died in Kula Hospital. She was born on Maui. She is survived by daughters Patricia Tomita, Joan O. Akai, Gwen O. Hiraga and Diane O. Arconado; six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
