72Pita Tanuvasa Sr., also known as Peter Paul Collins, 55, of Laie, a heavy equipment operator at Brigham Young University-Hawaii and a security guard at the Polynesian Cultural Center, died in Kahuku. He was born in Western Samoa. He is survived by wife Lucy; sons Nephi and Pita "P.J." Jr.; daughters Tanya, Oriana and Teuila Tanuvasa, and Misiona Prasad; father Samuelu; brothers Samuelu Jr., Michael, Richard, Shawn and Benjamin; sisters Mary Peters and Anita Maiava; and five grandchildren. Visitation: 8:30 a.m. Aug. 13 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Laie 6th Ward Chapel. Family services: 8 to 9:30 a.m., with open mic from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Services: 11:30 a.m. Burial to follow at Laie Cemetery.
