81Daniel Shuniichi Sakai, 78, of Waipahu, a retired Dura Constructors Inc. carpenter foreman, died in Honolulu. He was born in Waipahu. He is survived by wife Tomiko, son Wesley, brothers Paul and Alan, sisters Celia Fujioka and Joyce Sakai, three grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
