Samuelu Pagota Taputu, 70, of Honolulu, a fish cannery warehouse supervisor at Samoa Packing, died in Honolulu. He was born in Tula, American Samoa. He is survived by wife Sarai T.; sons Pagota and Fa'amati; daughters Sailini Atisano'e, Leiofu and Eni Taputu, and Sarai Taputu-Greene; hanai sons Faleata Mika and Fa'aolataga Taputu; hanai daughter Luafua Ioane; brother Fa'aolataga F. Salanoa and Ta'aguli Taputu; sisters Leiofu Taputu, Elizabeth Pagota, Faaoge Auvae and Lotonuu Boyd; 28 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.
