76Elizabeth Iwalani "Iwa" Higashi, 75, of Kaneohe, a professional lei maker and a former employee at Castle Medical Center and Poly-Tees, died in Castle Medical Center. She was born in Honolulu. She is survived by husband James "Jimmy"; sons Eric and Troy; daughters Melanie Higashi and Shannon Tilton; brothers Jerry, James and Wayne Tai Hook; sisters Melinda Yrojo, Elsie Frisbee and Francine "Noe" D'Aprile; 12 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
