Shellie Akiko Amano, 43, of Kealakekua, Hawaii, an Army veteran, an instructor at Hawaii Pacific University and the University of Phoenix, a financial officer for an advertising company and a doctor of chiropractic services, died at the Regency at Hualalai. She was born in Kealakekua. She is survived by son Kawika, mother Glenna Bell, stepfather Charlie Bell and grandmother Chiyono Kobayashi. Visitation: 9 a.m. Aug. 20 at Lifewater Church (formerly Central Kona Union Church). Services: 10 a.m. Casual attire.
