CHARLES CHUCK PARKER January 16, 1922 - August 9, 2016 Loving brother, husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. Adventurous. Kind. Generous. Seattle native Chuck Parker came to Hawaii via ship in 1942, when he was just 20. Chuck joined the Navy, settled, raised a family and quickly became a Kama'aina. A longtime Kailua resident, he was a member of the Kailua Elks Club and Hui. Chuck was active in the Kailua community and a founder of Kailua's 4-H club; he was a scout leader and led and participated in many other Kailua organizations throughout the years. Chuck leaves a lasting legacy of kindness and love. Interment is on Wednesday August 17 Hawaii State Veterans' Cemetery 45-349 Kamehameha Highway at 1 p.m. sharp Celebration of Life to follow at 2:30 p.m. Mid-Pacific Country Club, Lanikai 266 Kaelepulu Drive ~ Valet parking
