Howard Randall Tatum, 86, of Marana, Ariz., formerly of Hilo, a retired meteorologist with the National Weather Service in Hilo, a Parish Council member at St. Joseph Catholic Church, and a Navy veteran, died in Tucson, Ariz. He was born in Lone Pine, Calif. He is survived by wife Mary Ann; son David; daughters Genevieve "Genny" Aiona, Barbara Kuikahi, Laura Rillamas, Donna Stockstill, and Anita and Mona Tatum; stepdaughter Michelle Barry; sister Mary Vance; 23 grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. Visitation: 9 a.m. Sept. 10 at Dodo Mortuary. Services: 10 a.m. Urn committal services: 9 a.m. Sept. 12 at Hawaii Veterans Cemetery No. 2. Aloha attire.
