Walter Tokuo Takiguchi, 97, of Honolulu, retired president of Mid Pacific Insurance Agency, died in The Plaza at Punchbowl. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by wife Fujie, daughter Karen R. Schoenfeld, brother Herbert J., sisters Jean M. Burgess and Lily S. Nakao, and a grandchild. Visitation: 10 a.m. Sept. 10 at Honpa Hongwanji Hawaii Betsuin. Services: 11 a.m. Aloha attire.
