Sachio Taira, 90, of Wahiawa, an Army veteran, died in Wahiawa. He was born in Waimea, Kauai. He is survived by wife Tokie, son David, daughters Jennifer Loui and Jill Giovannoni, sister Chiyoko, seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Visitation: 9 a.m. Sept. 10 at Olivet Baptist Church, 1775 S. Beretania St. Services: 10 a.m. Casual attire. No flowers.
