Lawrence Waihoolana "Larry" Iokepa, 72, of Waimanalo, a retired Hawaii State Hospital security guard and a Navy veteran, died in Kailua. He was born in Hilo. He is survived by wife Cynthia; sons James A.K. Brown and Jason A.K. and Albert K.K.W. Iokepa; daughter Marylou K. Tolentino; brothers Clayton Iokepa and Kahoi Kaaha; 11 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren. Inurnment: 11 a.m. Sept. 15 at Hawaii State Veterans Cemetery, Kaneohe.
