David Gene McMurry, 71, of Fresno, Calif., a Navy veteran and a construction employee, died in Waikoloa, Hawaii. He was born in Burlington, Iowa. He is survived by sons Nathan and Leif; daughters Christy Buehlmann, Summer Whatley, and Melissa, Asha and Leah McMurry; brother Robert; sister Glenda McPherson; and 11 grandchildren.
