81James Kimo Herbert Kaleo Jr., 58, of Reno, Nev., a mechanic, heavy equipment operator and engineer, died in Sparks, Nev. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by fiancee Laura Ann; son Alika; daughters Tajah and Kiana; sisters Layla, Phoebe, Madeline and Gail; and a grandchild. Services: 10 a.m. Sept. 17 at Baby Makapuu Beach. Scattering of ashes at sea to follow. Casual/aloha attire. Flowers welcome.
