80Norman Joseph Palenapa, also known as "Sheriff Pale" and "Uncle Pale," 81, of Honolulu, a fish and game warden and a correctional officer at Oahu Community Correctional Center, died in Honolulu. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by wife Julie; sons Kimo and Michael Palenapa, and Lee Ellis; daughter Tracy Nakayama; brother Edgar; sisters Jane Asing and Carrie Shea; and a grandchild.
