72Ernest Kalani "Duke" Lum Sr., 63, of Pahoa, Hawaii, self-employed, died in Hilo Medical Center. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by wife Janet; sons Ernest K. Jr., Elvis, Elton and Elisha Lum, and Eli David; daughters Maylani Kaheiki, Madonna Hoomanawanui and Maryleeann Lum; mother Adeline K.; sisters Alberta Lono, Aileen Sarcedo, Ava Mae Kin-Choy and Annette "Lehua" Lum; 21 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
