78Herbert Hirohiko Higa, 91, of Honolulu, a retired Castle & Cooke heavy-equipment mechanic, died in Kuakini Medical Center. He was born in Paia, Maui. He is survived by wife Elaine N., daughters Danette Higa and Charlene Oyasato, sisters Alice Uehara and Flora Nohara, four grandchildren and a great-grandchild. Private services. No monetary offerings.
