75James Conrad Bryant, 66, of Waipahu, a substitute teacher, died in Kumamoto, Japan. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by sons Jonathan Oda and Jared, Javan and Justus Bryant; daughter Reiko Craig; mother Leatrice Kendrick; stepfather Dixon Kendrick; sisters Dorinda Hamilton and Darlene Takamatsu; and six grandchildren.
