Dr. William Alan "Bill" Reid, 86, of Lihue, a Navy veteran and an anesthesiologist at Maui Memorial Medical Center and St. Joseph's Hospital and Children's Hospital in Tustin, Calif., died in Kauai Hospice. He was born in Asheville, N.C. He is survived by wife Ann, sons Michael and Stephen, and two grandchildren. Private services.
