Manuel "Junior" Simmons, 85, of Pearl City, an Army veteran who served in the Korean War, died in Honolulu. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by son Curtis, sister Margaret Tuiloma and five grandchildren. Visitation: 9 a.m. Sept. 21 at Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church, Pearl City. Mass: 10 a.m. Committal services: 1 p.m. at Hawaii State Veterans Cemetery, Kaneohe. Casual attire. Flowers welcome.
