Joseph K. Moana Sr., 68, of Nanakuli, a retired Star of Honolulu tour bus driver and an Army veteran, died at home. He was born in Aua, American Samoa. He is survived by wife Verda N.K.L.; sons Joe K. Jr. and Jon; daughters Jan Moana and Joylyn Moana-Chan; brothers Pe'a and Anthony; sisters Josie Pauu, Bertha Martin, Tina Patton, Michelle "Micky" Lum and Bernadette "Bernie" Halsey; 14 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
