Francis Apana Tom, 96, of Honolulu, a retired Pearl Harbor Navy Shipyard production and planning supervisor and a Navy veteran, died. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by wife Harriet; daughters Harriet Rokero, Frances L. Pereira and Ronna E. and Noe Noe Tom; sister Ethel Zabalan; half brothers Donald and Leslie; half sister Teresa Inouye; stepsister Mary Souza; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Visitation: 4:30 p.m. Sept. 28 at Borthwick Mortuary. Services: 5:30 p.m. Burial: 10 a.m. Sept. 29 at Hawaiian Memorial Park. Casual attire. No flowers. Condolences: borthwickoahu.com.
