George S. McEldowney, 100, of Honolulu, a retired construction superintendent in Hilo and an Army veteran who served in World War II, died in Honolulu. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by son Robert S.; daughters Lois Dyer and Holly and Janis McEldowney; sister Mary Evenson; six grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren. Private services.
