George C. "Bones" Bailey, 79, of Honolulu, a Hawaiian Electric Co. retiree and an Army veteran, died in Honolulu. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by wife Ipolani S.; daughters Lana Kanaha and Monrae Bailey; brothers Isaac, Raleigh and Lodrigo; sisters Evelyn Brown, Yvonne Tani, Lorraine Saffery, Linda Baldonado and Sunday Parkin; a grandchild; and two great-grandchildren. Visitation: 9:30 a.m. Oct. 1 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Hawaii Kai Ward. Services: 10:30 a.m. Inurnment to be held at a later date. No flowers.
