78Ernest Kekaha Makaike, 65, of Waimanalo, a retired supervisor for the City and County of Honolulu's Wastewater Division, died in Kailua. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by wife Ramona M.; son Kenoa; daughters Henohea Kaupu and Leilei Sylva; father Ernest N.; stepmother Midge; brothers Larrio U. "Andy," Michael K. and Jonathan N.; sisters Wahineui N. Battiest, Carolyn L. Apana, Agnes L. Joseph, Cindy U. Callejo, Lisa K. Mildrum and Midge N. Ikeuchi; and eight grandchildren. Visitation: 5 p.m. Oct. 3 at Hawaiian Memorial Park Mortuary. Celebration of life: 6 p.m.
