JOY SEGAWA SERRAO (formerly Joy Hatsue Domingues), age 80, of Kaneohe, passed away on October 29, 2016. Born in Hilo. Survived by Daniel Serrao (former owner of Dan Serrao Builders); sons Michael John Domingues and David Roy Domingues; daughter Joni Christine Domingues; brothers LeRoy (Judy) Jiro Segawa, Carl (Yvonne) Hisao Segawa, and Clyde (Janet) Masashi Segawa; step-sons Lee Eric Serrao and Dan (Debra) Setsuo Serrao; 11 step-grandchildren; and 5 step-great-grandchildren. She attended Hilo High School and The Queen's School of Nursing. Began career as registered nurse at Hawaii State Hospital and retired as Branch Chief, Diamond Head Mental Health Center. Visitation 10:30AM; Service 11:30AM on November 20, 2016 at Borthwick Mortuary Makai Chapel. Burial to follow at 2PM at Hawaiian Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements Provided By: Borthwick Mortuary
