NORMAN TAKEO TAIRA 86, of Kaneohe, passed away on November 1, 2016. Born in Makawao, Maui, he was a retired budget analyst for the University of Hawaii. Preceded in death by his wife, Doris Len Tai Taira, he is survived by his son, Norman T. Taira, Jr. (Ace); daughter, Nadine N. Bensman; grandchildren, Jennifer Bensman and Kevin Kanemori.
