Of Honolulu passed away on November 11, 2016 well loved and lived a varied life. After graduation from McKinley H.S. in 1957, he served in the U.S. Army's 101st Division, was a member of the Honolulu Police Dept., was part of the 1st graduating class of EMS in Hawaii retiring as a Supervising M.I.C.T. Paramedic and Athletic Director at Damien Memorial H.S. Doug is survived by his wife of 57 years Nola Whang Brannum, son Guy Brannum (wife Doris), daughter Laura Hanashiro (husband Peter), and grandchildren: Christopher, Michael, Bradley, Nicole, Jessica and Alexis, great-grandchildren: Connor and Casen. Services will be held at St. Ann's Church in Kaneohe on Fri. Dec. 2nd at Noon. Casual Aloha. Arrangements Provided By: Borthwick Mortuary
