Philip "Sonny" P. Konohia passed away September 17, 2017 at Holy Cross Hospital, Silver Spring MD. He was born on April 25, 1930 in Pauwela, Maui. He is survived by his children Deborah Morton (James), Eric Konohia (Diana), Gerald P Konohia, and Marilyn K. Taylor. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, two great- great grandchildren a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He is predeceased by his parents Ioela Konohia (U'u) and Lilliana (Kealoha) Konohia, sisters: Kaui, Annie, Lucy, Hannah, Josephine and brothers: Joseph, Lawrence and Louis. Burial services will be held on November 22, 2016 at 11:00 at Makawao Veterans.
