Frank Satoshi Yamamoto, 86, of Honolulu, passed away on September 30, 2016. He was a retired real estate broker, real estate appraiser and business appraiser, as well as a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. Frank was born in Honolulu and graduated with a B.A. in Economics from the University of Hawaii (1952) and also attended graduate school there in the School of Business Administration. Before succumbing to illness, he was active in numerous clubs and community organizations, including Shriners Hospital, Rotary Club, Oahu Bowling Association, and Farrington High School, his alma mater. Frank is survived by wife, Vivian, children Kathy, Merle (Pak), Todd, and Noela (Yamamoto-Valdez). Also, sisters Lily (Obatake) and Florence, six grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and cherished friends. A Celebration of Life service will be held on November 26, 2016 with visitation at 10:00 am and service at 11:00 am at Nu'uanu Memorial Park & Mortuary.
