Lurline “Lin” Bernice Montiho
Lurline Bernice Montiho, 81, of Palolo Valley, passed away October 25, 2016 in Honolulu. She was born in Honomu, Hawaii and was an education assistant for 18 years with the Palolo Elementary Title I Program, and was also a caregiver for many years. She is survived by sons, Augustine (Donna) Montiho III, Carl (Julie) Montiho; daughters, Joanne Romero, Allison (Glenn) de Laura; hanai daughter, Vanessa (Jim) Montiho; brother, Leonard Ayala; sister, Betty Ayala; 13 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren. Visitation 9:30-11 a.m. Tuesday, 11/29/2016, at Hawaiian Memorial Park Mortuary; service at 11 a.m. with committal to follow at 1 p.m. at Hawaii State Veterans Cemetery.
