Sybil was born in Kaneohe, Hawaii on April 29, 1930. She passed away on October 13, 2016 at the age of 86. Sybil survived her late husband, George Kaneko, and was the fifth of six children. She is survived by her sister, Yukiko Kobayashi, and brother, Minoru Yoza; and 5 children, Joyce Yokota, Dianne Sinco, Jeri Suzuki, Steven Kaneko, and Laurie Sickels; 13 grand- children, and 2 greatchildren. Sybil will be remembered for her quiet demeanor, loving acceptance of all, and caring mother, grandmother, great grandmother, wife, and sister. She was an incredible seamstress and retired realtor affiliated with Waikiki Realty. Private funeral services were held on October 22, 2016 with family.
