Adrian Kwock passed away at home on November 25, 2016 at the age of 69. He is survived by his wife Laureen, son Jeremy, and daughter-in-law Susana. Adrian was born and raised in Hawaii, attended Maryknoll Schools, St. Stephen's Seminary and St. Patrick's Seminary. Adrian taught at Star of the Sea High School, eventually becoming principal. He retired as branch chief of the State Attorney General's Grants and Planning Branch. After retirement he continued work as a grant writer for Adult Friends for Youth. Throughout his life Adrian enjoyed helping people and gave much of his time and talent to organizations such as the Newman Center at the University of Hawaii and the Moiliili Community Center. In full retirement Adrian enjoyed the beach, travel, and a role as a movie extra. Adrian's smile, selflessness, and enthusiasm for life will be missed but never forgotten. Adrian's funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, December 10th at 10 AM at Newman Center University of Hawaii at Manoa. Aloha attire. No flowers, please. A private inurnment will follow at a later date.
