Age 91, of Kailua, Oahu passed away on November 16, 2016 at Kuakini Medical Center in Honolulu. He was born in Paia, Maui and was a retired Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard refrigeration and air conditioning mechanic. He is survived by wife Ruth Y. Kobayashi ; son Alan E. (Evie) Kobayashi; daughters Cynthia Ogi Kim and G. Gail (Gary) Robb; grandchildren, Alena, Brent, Kathi and Kelli Kobayashi; brother Victor (Cleo) Kobayashi. Visitation 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, December 17, 2016 at Nuuanu Memorial Park & Mortuary, service 11 a.m. Private inurnment. Family requests no flowers and no monetary gifts please.
