Age 102, of Waialua, HI, passed away November 16, 2016 in Waialua. Born December 26, 1913 in Waiakea, HI. Retired from Schofield Barracks as a heavy equipment operator after 36 years of service. He was preceded in death by children, Rubi Cubi, Greta Canon, Dennis Canon, Reynaldo Canon and Ronald Canon. Survived by wife, Donna Jo A. Pelekai-Canon; son, Roy Kalaualii (Diane) Canon; step-son, Michael Pelekai; brother, George (Izora) Canon; 17 grandchildren; 47 great-grandchildren; 46 great- great-grandchildren; 3 great- great-great-grandchildren; extended family, The Waiwaiole family. Visitation 5:30 p.m. Friday (Dec. 16) at the Mililani Mortuary Mauka Chapel; wake service 6:30 p.m. Casual attire. Flowers welcome.
