78, of Honolulu, became a citizen of Heaven on Nov. 21, 2016. He is survived by wife Jean, son Leland (Jeri), daughter Shari (Barclay) and grandchildren Noah, Jayci and Tiara. He was a construction superintendent. One-of-a-kind, he was a good man with a great heart and a generous spirit, blessing others with his homemade takuan, pickled mango and deep-fried tako. Visitation 4:30 p.m., Celebration of Life Service 5:30 p.m. on Dec. 15 at Diamond Head Mortuary. Casual attire. No flowers, please.
