Age 69, of Waipahu, HI, passed away Nov. 16, 2016 in Honolulu. He was born Dec. 14, 1946 in Honolulu. He retired from Oahu Sugar Plantation and Hawaiian Earth Product and was a member of Jehovah's Witnesses Waipio Congregation. He is survived by wife, Violet S. Castro; son, Shane (Mailei) Castro; daughter, Vanessa (August Jr.) Rodilles; brothers, Jesse (Cindy) Gamiao, Joaquin "Jr" (Christopher Kunkel) Gamiao, Levi Stanley, Sparky (Dannette) Silva Milliora; sisters, Dina (John) Balmores, Lauae (Henry) Villacruzes, Ethel Gomes; 15 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Visitation 5:30 p.m., Saturday (Dec. 17) at Mililani Mortuary Mauka Chapel. Memorial service 6:30 p.m. Casual/Aloha attire. Flowers welcome.
