Gwene Keiko Murakami, 62, of Honolulu, a retired clerk at Kapiolani Community College, passed away in the Queen's Medical Center among family and friends. She is survived by husband Melvin M., brother Eric M. (Teri) Kashiwamura, and sister-in-laws Eloise Hamano and Suzanne Murakami. A service to celebrate her life by Pastor David (Robyn) Kim will be held at Hosoi Garden Mortuary on Tuesday, December 20, 2016 at 11 a.m. Visitation with family from 10 to 11 a.m. Casual attire.
