David Chu Look Wong David Chu Look Wong, 95, of Honolulu, Hawaii passed away on December 7, 2016 in Kaneohe. He was born on May 26, 1921 in Waialua, Hawaii. David was a proud graduate of McKinley High School, Class of 1939. Also honorably served in the US Army as well as the Hawaii National Guard. David completed his work career and retired from the State Department of Transportation, Highways Division. David is survived by his wife, Katherine L. Wong; Son, Alan D.S. (Hannah) Wong and Daughter, June W. (Steven) Takekawa. Brother, Donald Wong, Sisters, Evelyn Chang and Betty Wong. Grandson, Troy N. Takekawa; Grand- daughters, Tessa J. (Kyle) Gomes, Tanna C. (Bryson) Dang, and Melissa L. Wong. Great-Granddaughter, Sophia K. Gomes. David's greatest achievement was his love of family and friends. Better known as Grandpa Wong after his retirement, Grandpa started as an active volunteer with KCAA Muriel Pre-School, later taking family and friends to long lunches or leisurely dinners that he prepared. Trips to China as well as Las Vegas became a regular adventure in his retirement years and having family and friends along to share the adventure was expected. Grandpa Wong will be sincerely missed by all of the lives that he touched. David's Celebration of Life will be held on December 26, 2016 at The Ko`olau Ballrooms in Kaneohe. Visitation with the family at 10:00am, Celebration of Life Service at 11:00am. Aloha Attire
